I know that the Realtek discussion is an onld one, but I still haven't found a proper solution for my question. Well, actually it's the second time I upgrade, because the first time around was a catastrophic failure see other thread.
Ok, so I decided to give W10 a second chance, because I DO think there are many interesting and redeeming features. Nonetheless, the Audio Drivers issue is really upsetting. I tried pretty much every recommendation around and nothing. Anything coming from Realtek is useless.
The Device Manager says everything's alright no errors whatsoever , but I can't get any sound. Things worked fine with the generic Audio Drivers from Windows 7 - 6.
They can't be rolled back greyed out and I can't restore the system had it disabled as per SSD manager recommendation. How can this be done? Is there a specific file or something from where I can force Windows 10 to select those older drivers.
